I am Hussein Jabour, a Syrian citizen born in northwestern Syria. Since I was young, I have faced difficult challenges and had to work at an early age to support myself and my family. I started my career in blacksmithing, where I worked as an apprentice in various workshops to gain the necessary skills and experience. In 2017, I decided to start my own blacksmithing project. However, like many projects in the region, my work faltered due to the ongoing war and forced displacement. I stopped working for a while, but returned in 2020 to practice the profession in a nearby city, benefiting from the experiences I have gained over the years. Despite my return to work, I face major challenges such as a lack of equipment and funding, which affects productivity and limits growth. However, I see an opportunity to develop the project and contribute to improving the economic situation in the region by providing job opportunities for young people and enhancing local skills. My goal is to provide high-quality blacksmithing services and develop the project to become an important part of the local economy, while improving the living conditions for me and the community around me.
